LoftyInc Celebrates Nigeria @ 60; Recommits to Development of MSMEs.

At LoftyInc,

We wish our dear country Nigeria, Happy Diamond Anniversary. We celebrate the journey so far, and set our gaze on a future full of promise yet unfulfilled.

Nigeria is a country made to be great. A land of diversity, beckoning to a future full of promises. As the world’s biggest black nation, Africa’s largest economy and a systemically important strategic country in our universe: our manifest destiny is greatness despite any of the marginal challenges we face today.

As I always note, to build a future we desire, “What is above our neck, will be more important than what is below our feet”. In a brave new world, where artificial intelligence and creativity dominate resource based economies, our capacity to outcompete our peers will depend on harnessing the knowledge of our massive population. To this, we are irredeemably committed at LoftyInc.

LoftyInkers consider ourselves fortunate to be part and parcel of the early shaping and construct of our dear fatherland. As an impact oriented company, we are determined to contribute our own quota to the future that is possible- especially that objective of getting 100 million people out of poverty.

To this end, we renew our focus as an enterprise and innovation development to enable the Micro, Small, Medium Scale Enterprises and Start-Ups (MSMES) that are the engines of economic growth; to create the jobs that will underpin this prosperous future: for our dear country.

Thus, we have partnered with several public and private institutions to launch several Digital Skills Initiatives enabling over 30,000 youths, Business Development Support Services for MSMEs, and venture development support from acceleration through our Wennovation Hub platform since 2010 to our Venture Capital Fund investment management at LCM that has delivered 3.5 million USD to over 45 start-ups in the last 7 years. These services that we have provided to over 8,000 entrepreneurs so far, are designed to power Nigeria and indeed, Africa into a future assured.

Nigeria is at a critical stage of Nation Building. All hands must be on deck as we seek to translate the energies of our youths, who make up more than 70% of our population, into a competitive advantage.
