A Decade of Championing Innovation!!!
Wennovation Hub wasn’t left out of the anniversary celebrations as they equally clocked 10 years of existence as the foremost innovation hub in Nigeria.
The Hub, which was formed a decade ago by 4 passionate men who wanted to see African businesses thrive by providing the necessary skills, training, and funding, has stayed true to its vision of achieving sustainable development in Africa by fostering innovation among the young population.
Over the years, Wennovation Hub has achieved its mandate through pre-incubation, incubation, acceleration, research, consulting, training programmes, and affordable coworking spaces.
We kicked off the activities to commemorate the decade-long achievements of the Hub, with a call for ideas for an Ideathon where the best ideas were selected and two of the selected winners were given the opportunity to pitch their ideas to members of the ecosystem present.
We also had an interactive session where we talked about “Building a vibrant Tech Ecosystem: Our Progress and the Future. We had Lexi Novitske of Acuity Venture Partners, Michael Ogundare of Crop2Cash and our very own Dr. Wole Odetayo talk on the very engaging subject matter.
